Situated at approximately 1150 meters above sea level, this plateau is a true natural gem, perfect for those seeking tranquility and unspoiled landscapes.

What Sets It Apart

Why Visit

Boniprati Plateau offers an escape from the hustle and bustle of daily life, allowing visitors to immerse themselves in an environment of peace and natural beauty. It’s ideal for those seeking an outdoor experience, from simple walks to more challenging hikes, to discovering winter sports. The unique combination of nature, history, and recreational activities makes it a perfect destination for a diverse vacation, catering to families as well as experienced hikers.

How to Get There

Boniprati is accessible from the Val del Chiese, an area connected to the rest of Trentino via a well-developed road network. From Trento, you can follow the SS237 del Caffaro state road westward, passing through Tione di Trento, until reaching the town of Prezzo. From there, a well-marked secondary road leads directly to the Boniprati plateau.

In Conclusion

Boniprati Plateau is not just a place of extraordinary natural beauty but also a starting point for outdoor adventures and a tranquil retreat for those looking to escape the daily routine. Its easily accessible location from the Val del Chiese makes it an excellent choice for a short getaway or an extended stay, offering activities and views that can satisfy a wide variety of interests and preferences.

Among the many events that involve the plateau, the Desmalgada stands out, celebrating the return to the valley of animals and shepherds after a summer spent in the high pastures. For a day, the Boniprati plain is filled with the colors of traditional costumes, the scents of dairy products and traditional dishes, games, and crafts from another era, and the opportunity to get up close with cows, donkeys, and horses.

It’s the ideal destination to detach from the frenzy of daily life and rejuvenate in the authentic and comfortable environment of Baita Boniprati.
